The EC930 boasts LG’s new webOS Smart platform for an easier and more responsive way to control your TV. You’ll find pop up icons appearing neatly laid out in a line on the “Launcher” ready to be selected or easily dismissed so you can resume viewing. Complete with a Magic Remote that can be used in a variety of ways such as point, gesture and wheel plus voice control for hands-free control. A premium range of LG applications includes Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Now TV, BBC iPlayer and YouTube. There’s also a web browser and the ability to stream across your network.

With four times the resolution of Full HD combined with the latest OLED technology, the LG 55EG960V is one for the wish list. A premium set at a much higher price compared to the LG 55EC930V but an impressive newcomer with glowing reviews none the less.
