Panasonic TX-P42GT30B 42 inch 3D Plasma TV – no longer available

The Panasonic TX-P42GT30B is one of latest 3D TVs to hit the shops and is new for 2011. This particular model has a Full HD 42 inch plasma screen and boasts a slim design, a cloud based internet service and both Freesat HD and Freeview HD tuners providing plenty of options for watching high definition content.

Sound on TX-P42GT30B is provided by 2 x 10 watt 2 speakers with V-Audio Surround and Dolby Digital Plus. Connectivity options include VIERA image viewer, 3 USB and USB HDD recording and 4 HDMI inputs.

The GT30 series is also available in 42, 46 and 50 inch screen sizes. Specifications include infinite black pro contrast, 600Hz technology and intelligent frame creation for clear 3D images and improved 2D pictures. For those not worried about 3D features panasonic also have the Full HD G30 series which is also available in 42, 46 and 50 inch screen sizes. Panasonic continue to push 3D technology with more than a dozen 3D models available this year including a 32 inch 3D LED and a large screen 65 inch 3D Plasma. As usual most of the new models will have a price premium to begin with compared to last years TVs but shop around as there will be some keen offers available especially online.
