Toshiba REGZA SV Series
A new line up of REGZA LED TVs has now arrived in the UK in the shape of Toshiba’s fine SV series. Fans of large TV screens will have a choice of two feature packed models in the SV range: 46SV685DB and 55SV685DB.
Launched in September the SV range like many of Toshiba’s LCD models unveiled for 2009 boasts advanced imaging technology, energy saving Eco Panels, MetaBrain chip and exceptional styling.
High quality pictures demanded by ardent TV viewers are expertly delivered with Toshiba’s Resolution+ technology, Active Vision M200HD picture processing and an LED backlight. Available in either a 46 or 55 inch size, the REGZA SV range caters for most needs when it comes to home TV entertainment.
The inclusion of LED Back lighting ensures the colours are reproduced accurately with an increased colour gamut for stunning pictures. The SV range will be the first LED backlit TVs from the Toshiba camp and look to set the world alight with brighter images, a faster response time and superior contrast and colour.
Active Vision M200HD takes care of the fast action scenes ensuring moving images are smooth and without any blur while Resolution + upscaling wizardry displays standard definition images at near high def quality.
These big screen TVs also offer better sound to match the picture, Dolby Volume is the next generation audio which levels out the sound from all types of content and programmes. The sound remains the same and is deep and clear at all times when changing channels.
Game enthusiasts are in for a treat with a special Game Mode feature for greater response times in games while correct mapping ensures all content is displayed on the TV as intended. Both these full 1920 x 1080p HD resolution LED TVs come with multiple connections including a dedicated PC input and 4 HDMI connectors.
Integrated Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) technology incorporated in the SV series allows you to hook up an array of multi media content and your PC without wires. The remote control can be used to operate PC functions and hard drive storage: a great feature for sharing photos with friends, viewing videos and enjoying music with just a touch of a button.
When it comes to style the SV series is a cut above the rest with its Deep Lagoon design theme. The gloss black frame with gradual colour fading creates a tapered effect that has a way of bringing out the best colour ratios and contrast in the images
