Eco-Friendly 40″ and 46″ LCD from Sony
Sony has introduced their greenest television to date with the latest Bravia range for 2009. The energy saving 40 inch Bravia KDL-40WE5W and 46 inch KDL-46WE5W LCD TV in cuts power consumption down by over half compared to earlier Bravia models.
The WE5-Eco Series even turns itself off when the built-in sensors detect no movement or heat in the room. Sony’s says the energy saving technology incorporated in their new range for 2009 has in no way reduced the image quality. In fact the WE5 boasts a 100Hz refresh rate thanks to their Motionflow 100Hz technology. Add to this the BRAVIA ENGINE 3 and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and the result is crystal clear images with superb definition, fine detail and smoother fast-action picture quality.
Eco-friendly enthusiasts will be delighted to at last see the green credentials of new TVs being produced and the new Eco Line TVs from Sony is set to become a popular choice. In addition to the environmentally friendly TVs hitting the stores there is the launch of TVs with internet connectivity allowing you to access online services without using your computer.
