Samsung LED TV Series 6000 7000 8000
Samsung’s new series 6, 7 and 8 LED TVs are available in 2009 bringing the next generation of flat screen televisions that use a new LED lighting system to deliver sharper images, brighter colours and improved energy efficiency.
The super slim TV LED produces high contrast vivid detail and pictures that are free from edge blur with 100Hz motion plus technology. Samsung also use mercury-free LED lights that require less energy meaning less CO2 is emitted.
Available in the UK Samsung’s LED TV models include the Series 6 UE46B6000 a 46 inch Full HD 1080p 6000 LED TV at just 29.9mm thin that has superior picture quality with Smart LED Lighting, 100Hz technology, USB 2.0 and 4 HDMI connections. Also available is a 40 inch version Full HD LED TV: UE40B6000.
Samsung’s series 7 LED TVs consists of a selection offered in various screen sizes and in either rose or platinum black

Its not OLED its LED backlit LCD, OLED is still 5 years or so away from being mainstream, but LED backlighting is still a major advancement in LCD TV design, it allows much thinner models to be produced and in local dimming units allows a far superior picture with greater sharpness/contrast and deeper black scales compared to CCFL backlit lcd’s.
